It appears you were near someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19. There is a possibility that you were exposed and may now be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19.
Act now to care for yourself and help protect your family and the rest of Guam from COVID-19.
For the next 14 days:
1. Take care of yourself and monitor for the signs and symptoms of COVID-19:
Get plenty of rest, eat healthy foods, and keep well hydrated
Be alert for cough, fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea, sore throat, loss of taste or smell
If you develop any of these symptoms call your healthcare provider ahead of visiting the medical clinic
2. Protect others: Prevent spreading the virus to others. Even if you feel fine, you still could have the virus and unknowingly infect others. Take steps to avoid unnecessary contact with others:
If possible, work from home
Don’t attend family gatherings, go to restaurants, bars, or church services
Avoid going shopping, unless urgent
Separate yourself from your family as much as possible
Always wear a mask and wash your hands frequently
3. Act now: Don’t delay in taking the steps to fight COVID-19.
